I don't understand what you mean. This is why I gave it a try: "FixedPPosition and FixedPSize make fvwm ignore attempts of the program to move or resize its windows. ... These styles may sometimes affect the initial placement and dimensions of new windows (depending on the application)." If I comment out "Style * FixedPPosition", firefox will start with one window way off the top of the screen. Only with FixedPPosition are both windows in the working area (the panel is at the top of the screen).
