OK, I think I found the problem. FvwmPager's man page says

       *FvwmPager: Geometry geometry
              Completely or partially specifies the pager windows
              location and geometry, in standard X11 notation.  ...

Obviously it is _not_ standard X11 notation, but something special
for fvwm and its modules.

        *FvwmPagerGeometry [EMAIL PROTECTED]

did the trick.
