Well the purpose to send emails and post questions on the same forum is related to efficiency. Unfortunately I have not so much time to spend on fvwm and to ask at several places at the same time is a way to have quickly several answers. But you can really blame me to do not have used the search engine of the forum, because it seems that the answer of my question was already there: http://fvwm.lair.be/viewtopic.php?f=38&t=869 In fact the main problem is to do an horizontal menu with icons (not screenshots of the applications) and doing such a menu seems to be impossible or at least difficult (everything seems to be vertical).
