> Are you sure you didn't mean to use PointerKey instead?

I did not know about PointerKey, and from the man page it looks like
it would be a reasonable solution. However, it doesn't quite seem to
be working. I did
FvwmCommand "PointerKey n D N Exec exec gnome-terminal"
and I seem to properly get a gnome-terminal when I press "n" with my
cursor over the desktop. But if I then try to type "n" into firefox,
nothing happens. And yet more bizarrely, if I type "n" into a
gnome-terminal it does get passed through.
I have fvwm version 2.5.24 on my machine.

The other problem that PointerKey doesn't solve, is I had my setup
configured, pre trying out gnome, to get a menu when clicking on the
root window. Now I seem to need to click once on the desktop to focus
it, and then once more to get my menu.

Thanks,
Emilie
