Unfortunately this conflicts with the Fedora Board meeting at the same
time and I'm guessing at least several Board members are interested in
attending this.

Being honest we should note that the real point of barcamps is to let
the attendees choose the talks available to them rather than leaving
that to a committee of three people who don't know who will be
attending when the selections are made and may or may not know what
talks attendees would like to see. Barcamps do have issues and while
I'm not objecting to dropping them from the program there is a cost to
doing so.

Good luck to everyone who can attend this meeting and help make it a success.

I'd like to just mention my biggest concern with the format proposed
although I'm sure those doing the planning have considered it already.
If the conference + hackfests run Friday Aug. 9 through Thursday Aug.
15 when you add travel days on the ends we are asking contributors to
miss 7 work days. Ignoring cost implications I know many people simply
can't take 7 work days off to attend something like this.
