I successfully built fricas 1.3.10 on macOS M1 (aarch64) machine, with
ECL 23.9.9 and the dependencies such as libgc and gmp supplied by
Homebrew.

I've run

./configure --with-lisp=ecl
--enable-case-insensitive-file-system-check=no && make && make install

I'll try sbcl too, and report.
