Little update: I have now installed Reduce (snapshot from
March 2023), Maxima 5.30.0 (newest one for which our TeX
output code works) and Aldor (from current git).

I am not sure if Reduce is fully functional (official installation
method did not work and I installed it in a hacky way), but
simple Reduce things work, which should be enough to edit/
regenerate pages containing Reduce code.
