“We see threat actors engaged in ransomware, narcotics, darknet markets, fraud,
cybercrime, sanctioned entities and jurisdictions, and hacktivism making
deposits to Cryptomus for purchases but also laundering the services using
Cryptomos payment API,” the company said in a statement.

I have a friend whose kid's wallet increased by ~$4k since Trump was elected.
(My own Ada increased by about 2x, from $150 to $300.) I tried to gently point
out that his kid is (now) complicit. Welcome to the club. Sure, it's a
difference of degree ... $4k isn't much. But is it a difference in kind? I
mean, sure, his kid's not intentionally laundering money and hasn't registered
a business at some address in BC. On the bright side, this is cryptocurrency
being used as [gasp] currency! 8^D So, congrats, I guess.
