I can't get into the details, but I was recently in a situation where I was
very confident of a risk to some people I know. It turns out this risk became
a reality and it played out almost exactly as I expected. I even warned in an
edgy way to the point of hurting their feelings. It was positive thinking
that got them in trouble. They assumed boundaries on the actions of others
that I did not assume.
