Moz has definitely stepped it up a notch with Brendan Eich as CTO. Asm.js, Emscripten, Moz OS and more.
The key issue will, again, be the Unholy Trinity: mfgr, os provider, carrier. Who updates the critter? Who debugs it. Who fixes Doug's WiFi problem? Google, as far as I can tell, is a complete fail at managing android expectations. Who Ya Gonna Call!? Samsung? Verizon? Google? Maybe Ghost Busters, but certainly not Google. So my guess is that Moz will do a better job, at least from the developer and tech-savvy user standpoint. -- Owen On Fri, Aug 16, 2013 at 9:36 AM, Marcus G.
