One more plug, then I'll crawl back into my hole. SparkleShare <http://sparkleshare.org/> uses Git as its storage mechanism. You can revert to previous versions of files via the normal Git tools. It also consolidates several repositories on different hosts, allowing private clouds as well as more public ones like those on Github.
