Tooling around on a Sunday, I came across a review of the book "Circles Disturbed", and an interview with Barry Mazur, one of the authors. Recommended (the interview, haven't gotten to the book yet). Loved his ideas about "templates" and "explanation futures".

Stories about stories about Mathematics. May rile some.

You may remember Mazur for his intro to category theory: www.math.harvard.edu/~*mazur*/preprints/when_is_one.pdf .
