My question is not what is the “right” world view, but how do we know what
is the right world view?

Of the many people representing different world views, I take a random pick
of two prominent people: in the “caring” corner is Jeffrey Sachs and in the
“libertarian” corner is Michael Shermer. The short version of these two
conflicting views is that the one wants government to solve social problems
and the other one wants a strong but very limited in scope government.

My hope is that we will be in a better position to know that if the living
earth simulator of Dirk Helbing (www.futurict.eu) lives up to expectation.
