Short form: Friam @ St John's next week.
As Tory Sez: But isn't the point to meet at St Johns as often as
possible: this discussion is only applicable for when that is not possible?
Yes, that was part of the experiment, to see if we could at least find a
good alternative to St Johns when it is closed. And with winter coming on,
Downtown Sub won't work.
There were other reasons, such as helping a new Santa Fe business to get
started and to find a place close to SFX so folks working on projects could
take a break at Friam. I also *liked* the ambiance .. much like the
bean-bag genre in Silicon Valley startups. But then I'm interested in
science/tech conversations which fit such a space.
