Hi, everybody,

Once again, we are meeting at St. Johns this week. We have come out of the
Holiday Tunnel. WEEEEE-OOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

While I have your attention, allow me to tell you that I am organizing
another in the series of Coffee House Seminars in which we explore findings
and texts of importance to FRIAMISH sorts of people. This semester, we will
discuss the extensive research that shows that a person's awareness of his
feelings, judgments, beliefs, attitudes, memories, emotions, motives, etc.
does not come through special channels but arises in the same way as we
perceive these same mental states in others. We will use as our text James
Lairds, FEELINGS: The Perception of Self. (Oxford University Press). If
you are curious, write me. I have set up a sparce website which gives the
crucial information, and I will reply with an invitation to access it.

Hope to see you tomorrow.

Nick
