Has anyone tried Google's go language?

Google makes the same case for it as chrome: its been 10 years since a system
language has been created! Mainly the concern is multi-core & gc and an
architecture for large distributed systems.

Kinda interesting looking at the faq's .. they are adamant that simplicity is
