Hello everyone. My name is Bill Craven and I'm a new member of the Friam group and a recipient of its mailing list. I'm a transportation planner who has specialized in travel demand forecasting models for much of my career, principally regional and statewide models but also project-specific applications such as the Central Artery/Tunnel Project in Boston and Tren Urbano in San Juan. I was also the last undergraduate to receive the Civil Engineering - Transportation Option degree from MIT's Civil Engineering Department back in the 1980's. TDF modelers generally pick up skills in other areas as well, and in my case those areas have included GIS, programming, database design and development, survey design, and statistical analysis. I'm currently resident in Santa Fe and simply love the wide open spaces here after spending my first 40 years on the Atlantic Coast.
