HI Mic, Terribly sorry for not seeing this earlier.
You can use infantFS for the 2-4.5 year age range. I would only start using the adult version over that age limit and for several years I would still carefully look at the outputs. We wrote up an editing guideline for the 4-6 year age range that you mind find handy: https://surfer.nmr.mgh.harvard.edu/fswiki/ChildBrainManualEdits?highlight=%28child%29 Best, Lilla ________________________________ From: [email protected] <[email protected]> on behalf of Michelangelo Fabbrizzi <[email protected]> Sent: Wednesday, October 11, 2023 11:48 AM To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Cc: Sennott, Liam Ricker <[email protected]> Subject: [Freesurfer] Use of infantFS and FS in the interval 2 - 4.5 years of age External Email - Use Caution Dear FS experts, I see it is recommended to use infantFS below 2 years of age, whereas FS has been used for 4.5 years and above. I was wondering what could be used in the interval 2 - 4.5 years of age: which are benefits and drawbacks of both? Thanks, appreciated, Mic
