Gabriel,
?h.pial_lgi is a curv file format similar to the ?h.thickness file,
meaning that there is one value per vertex. So you can export the lGI
values for all the vertices included in a ROI exactly as you would do
it for cortical thickness.
However, I am not able to help you with your other question about
white matter volume in ROIs.
