Thanks, I hadn't read that specific page previously. I had somehow missed the fact that the DNS in IPA works as authoritative. Before I set it up I had gotten the impression (wrongly) that it could act similar to dnsmasq, which is what I was looking for. I'm looking into other solutions, probably the ISC Kea package.
