You're asking a new question so I am replying to you under a new

You may have had trouble posting a question to the Facebook group if
you joined then tried to make a post right away. That's a Facebook
thing, to prevent spamming. Facebook groups require that you be a
member of that group for at least a few days before your posts will be
accepted; otherwise, Facebook dumps the message into a spam folder
(which I don't always see).

I haven't used VirtualBox in a long time, so others will have to
answer that part of your question about mapping a host folder (I think
you're running Windows?) so it can be seen by the guest (FreeDOS) as a
drive letter.

What do you do to "launch" the Interplay CD in FreeDOS? Is there a
Batch file menu that you run, or something else?
