SDE? Is it on an add-on card? FreeDOS may not be able to see it. MBR or GPT? Needs to be MBR. When you boot the install media, exit to the command prompt. Run FDISK and verify you can see the drive in that program. If you can and do not mind erasing that drive, try using FDISK to partition it and reboot. Since this is drive 5… After rebooting, quit the installer again, run FDISK and verify that the partition you want is shown as drive C:. Exit FDISK and perform a simple format of drive C:. You should then be able to run the installer. It may be best to use advance mode and pay careful attention to settings like writing a new MBR. You can run advanced mode with “setup adv” > > > > > > -- > mobile: +1 778 951 5147 <= still working > VoIP: +1 778 508 0020 <= new & working > projects: en.wikibooks.org/wiki/User:PeterEasthope > > > > _______________________________________________ > Freedos-user mailing list > [email protected] > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user _______________________________________________ Freedos-user mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user
