Agreed with tsiegel that ISOs are the most convenient packaging, and
they're also the thing I first look for.

On the subject of resource usage, I think I'd want to look at some
numbers before I called it a 'big waste'.  In these days of social
media and disinformation, crypto-mining and DoS attacks I honestly
doubt the traffic for DOS ISO downloads is even a rounding error.
