Hi! Not sure if we already had this on sourceforge news, but:

ASTRA - Advanced System Information Tool for DOS version 7.20 is out
(2025-02-03) but it seems to have issues on some systems, please test.

https://www.bttr-software.de/forum/forum_entry.php?id=22353

UPX 5.0.0 is out 2025-02-20, but differences to 4.2.4 only affect ELF.

CauseWay DOS extender v5: CauseWay 5.0 is out. Japheth writes:

- better DOS/4G compatibility
- better DPMI compliance
- cleaned source code (tools: Masm v6+, JWasm, WL32)
- smaller file size, less extended memory usage
- lower DOS memory footprint, no scattered free DOS memory
- faster mode switches
- ( hopefully :-D ) less bugs

For reference, some of the recent Sourceforge news items:

https://sourceforge.net/p/freedos/news/2025/01/jemm-585/

JEMM 5.85 is out, which includes several bugfixes

https://sourceforge.net/p/freedos/news/2025/01/jwasm-219/

JWASM 2.19 is out, which fixes some bugs for EXE format etc.

https://sourceforge.net/p/freedos/news/2024/09/freedos-format-092a/

FORMAT 0.92a is out, which the news item calls a test release.
It fixes a floppy format issue and other bugs and adds translations.

Regards, Eric
