There is a program called HWInfo for DOS that may be what ya lookin for. It gives alot of info on your hardware. Unless I a, mistaken, it is freeware. One thing, though is under freedos (on my system) it reports I am runnin under win95/OS/2, or DOS Mode. Still works fine. Also gives a warning bout running in v86 mode because of expanded menory. I would check that out.
