I'll be honest and say I'm starting to second guess myself here... Reading a totally unrelated email at work this morning, I wondered why I'm even bothering with wordperfect. I only need a basic text editor. I'm not interested in spell check, as I'll do that on the editing machine, so bringing it down to the minimum, freedos and whatever text editor is included would actually do the job nicely.
