Ritchie himself to the MWC offices to check it wasn't pirated. It
wasn't.
I didn't know that ;-) Coherent was advertised in BYTE magazine and was very reasonably priced at the time. It came with and impressive 1200 page plus printed manual. When I moved to DOS, I think I used Kermit to transfer my source files from Coherent to a DOS partition.
