You can also just unzip the FREEMACS package. All FreeDOS packages are really just zip files that include a metadata file. You could unzip the FREEMACS.ZIP file and "install" it that way. Be aware that the package contains both binary and source files. The source will be installed to SOURCE\EMACS and the binary will be installed to DOC\PROGS. The metadata file will be installed to APPINFO.
