FreePascal officially supports a 16-bit DOS target ("i8086-msdos") ever since 3.0.0 (2015). It's a cross-compiler only, but you can actually run the Win32 host compiler (preferably snapshot from trunk) under HX. I'm no expert, but there are some features that old (classic) TP 5.5 can't handle. Granted, FPC is slightly larger output, but it's much better overall. Also, Modula-2 and Oberon are both excellent languages in their own right. (I need to just bite the bullet and try to build Oxford Oberon 3.1.0 for us one of these days.) _______________________________________________ Freedos-user mailing list Freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user
