I haven't changed any settings on the www.freedos.org website.
Actually, I keep meaning to put https on the website, but haven't
found time yet. (And it's been a low priority.) So the website is
still running http.

When I do put https on the website, you will still be able to access
via http as usual.

You are referring to the "DOS fork of FLTK" news item on the
www.freedos.org website. A "fork" in a software project is when a
developer creates a separate, parallel version of something - but
based on the original source code. (From Wikipedia: "In software
engineering, a project fork happens when developers take a copy of
source code from one software package and start independent
development on it, creating a distinct and separate piece of
software.")

So in this case, Mark Olesen created a new DOS version of FLTK, based
on the original source code. Mark's project is a fork of the FLTK
project. This seems to be a separate effort than FLTK for DOS at
SourceForge.

Hope that helps.

Jim
