Good evening Jim,
I apologize for meddling, but I just received the thread being a subscriver
and thought I could help that way.

I think the user is not speaking of a Fdos installer, it seems he has
rather installed the system itself upon a usb pen drive, as he stated
above.

What I understood is that he encounters that error ('integer devided by
zero' -that I experienced sometimes using jemm386 with certain programs
whenever he tries to enter the system through either of the first 2 default
menu entries specified in the fdconfig.sys.
He should be therefore unable to use neither extended nor expanded memory
which is what Tony appear to be complaining about ;).

It would be interesting to see what happens if he tries to devload himemx/
jemm,or himem/xmgr.

Hope that helps you giving him some precious advise :-)

Yours truly,
P.v.o.
