Mpxplay, maybe a port of mplayer, experimental ports of the HX DOS extender which can run simple Windows programs which may include DOSBOX which could run some DOS games which might help those to believe that you have SoundBlaster while DOSBOX and HX play your sound via HDA? Which other DOS apps have HDA?
