Yes, I saw that the FreeDOS-32 kickstarter project was canceled. That's too
bad. I encourage all new development efforts in FreeDOS. I was curious to
see where this project would go. Since the project is canceled, I removed
the link to the kickstarter from the www.freedos.org page this morning.

Chelson started the kickstarter project based on some discussion on the
FreeDOS Facebook page. It looks like he has deleted his posts there, so I
can't cite a post for you. I did encourage Chelson and others in the
Facebook group who were interested in FreeDOS-32 to join the Road Map
conversation on the freedos-devel list. Chelson said he was watching the
freedos-devel list, but hadn't posted anything during our Road Map
discussion. That's too bad.

I was recently in contact with Chelson via email about a different topic:
his DOSCORE distribution (which is based on FreeDOS) and his Aura M4
desktop (an update of the oZone GUI). But he didn't mention that he was
canceling his kickstarter project. Although he did say in an earlier email
that he was frustrated with the negative response & comments he was getting
on the Facebook group, and hinted the canceling the project "might be in
the cards" so perhaps I shouldn't be surprised that the kickstarter is now
canceled.
