Hi All Have a usb mouse with usb/ps2 converter on a Y ps2 cable. This cable is supplied by the Industrial cpu board supplier, and it allows a ps2 mouse on one leg of the Y, and a ps2 keyboard on the other. Pure FreeDos install on a booting compact flash.
The installation has cutemouse installed with the /p switch. If I run my GUI application, then mouse movement will corrupt my serial data that controls some RS485 modules on a twisted pair. In fact it even corrupts without movement as a result of being polled. If I run just a test program that communicates on the serial port then there are No corruptions, even though the mouse driver is still loaded.(but not called by the application) Does anyone have any similar experience and solved this problem ? I recall a google search that said something about this, but now cant replicate the search. ----- Regards Dinosaur -- View this message in context: http://freedos.10956.n7.nabble.com/Com1-corruption-from-PS2-mouse-tp21280.html Sent from the FreeDOS - User mailing list archive at Nabble.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Download BIRT iHub F-Type - The Free Enterprise-Grade BIRT Server from Actuate!
