Hi, From "Michael B. Brutman" <mbbrut...@brutman.com>> > Before we claim that mTCP is not compatible with FDAPM, what > FDAPM options are you using? > fdapm apmdos has worked for me before. My notes are in > power.txt. > Mike
My own experience running pure FreeDOS is the same as Mike's: no compatibility problems between mTCP and FDAPM. I haven't used FTP too much, but I do use DHCP, HTGET and SNTP rather often. As far as I remember, the only thing that had a compatibility issue with FDAPM was Bret's USB driver for keyboard. (I have reported the issue to Bret.) In my experience, FDAPM may not work with everything (i.e., it may not produce the desired CPU idle time), but it does not clash either. My FDAUTO.BAT line is: loadhigh c:\fdos\bin\FDAPM.COM APMDOS Regards, Marcos -------------------------------------- Marcos Fávero Florence de Barros Campinas, Brazil ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Infragistics Professional Build stunning WinForms apps today!
