How hard (if at all possible) would it be to port
lftp to FreeDOS? From the Description page on its
web site:

"LFTP is a sophisticated file transfer program
with command line interface. It supports FTP,
HTTP, FISH, SFTP, HTTPS and FTPS protocols. GNU
Readline library is used for input."

And it's very humanly convenient, in my opinion. :)

Wouldn't it be great to have such a wonderful tool
for file transfer on FreeDOS?

Cheers,
Ángel
