Hi all, I love FreeDOS and have taken to fooling around with an installation on one of my primary partitions. I've done some research about compatible sound hardware for the current kernel, and (please correct me if I'm wrong) it seems to me that PCI sound cards simply will not work with FreeDOS. I recently came across items like this <http://www.amazon.com/StarTech-com-Channel-Sound-Effects-PCISOUND4CH/dp/B000FHQTNU/ref=sr_1_10?ie=UTF8&qid=1388880662&sr=8-10&keywords=dos+compatible+sound+card> , though, which list "MS-DOS Compatibility" as a feature. Further, items like this <http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0009MB0EE/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used> seem to indicate that there are SB16 PCI sound cards out there. Is FreeDOS actually compatible with sound cards like this, or does the fact that they're PCI foreclose that possibility?
