My problem is that though I can read eMail using a black background on my 
Android phone using K-9 Mail, when I follow a link from the mail it invariably 
is displayed on a light background by Firefox. This is hard on my old eyes. Can 
I use Stylish to create a light text on black background theme for displaying 
text?

As I said, my question is totally Off Topic.
