What's running? SMB using MS-Client? NFS using something? I guess you used shares mapped to driveletters. The SHARE program might solve your issue. Otherwise the server perhaps has issues, instead of the clients. Perhaps one of the disks at http://www.veder.com/nwdsk/ could be a solution, or http://www.netbootdisk.com/ In other words: I've got no idea, keep trying stuff till you run out of ideas.
