Some time ago I was in contact with this company.

The system-on-chip includes sound, net and video chipsets on the same
ceramic capsule where the processor is. A very nice idea, this system
needs very energy to work.

They offer systems with WinXP and a ligth Linux distro. Is an x86
compatible system, is possible that DOS will boot but I doubt you can
use the provided sound, net and video accelaration. They only provide
propietary drivers (no open source) for WinXP and some few linux distros.

Based on the same technology there is a laptop that can run with standar
rechargeable "AA" batteries. Look at http://www.toypc.tw/
