Yes, they are. There's a mouse driver called USBMOUSE. The thing you have to be careful of with USB, though, is that many times it's "all or nothing". That is, you may not be able to have my programs control the mouse and have the BIOS control the keyboard. Sometimes you can do this, and sometimes you can't. It depends on your specific hardware configuration.
