To do calculations in FreeDOS, use the FreeCOM feature to SET an environment variable from the output of any program and use CALC387 (only 1024 byte) as calculator. Of course the SET /A arithmetic of WinXP CMD command.com alternative is a nice idea, too, maybe also for FreeCOM.
