I'll bet Google could find a manual for that display, which if you don't
already have you probably don't need anyway. Displays that don't have a
button just to auto-adjust usually do have a button to open the device's
menu. I'll bet you have one of those, in which you'll find something
somewhere either labeled auto-adjust, position adjust, or some other label
designed to perform the function of moving the output where you can see it all.

If this is not possible, but the device is under warranty, the simplest
solution might be to complain to the manufacturer over the phone. It may be
that your device is supposed to auto-adjust without pressing any buttons, but
that function is broken.

Another idea is to ensure that the software is using the device's native
mode, which when booted to DOS may not be so simple as it is for an OS with a
GUI native environment, likely impossible actually. Probably at the DOS
prompt you'll be using a supported but non-native mode. Non-GUI modes,
besides being visually inferior to native mode, will often fit quite
sub-optimally on an LCD screen, even after all possible adjusting has been
attempted. This too would justify a support call if the manufacturer's web
site sufficiently obfuscates online support for your device.

Does FreeDOS ordinarily boot up in the same mode as MS DOS & PC DOS? I think
so, but don't know, nor know how to query for the mode in use in FreeDOS.
Maybe just 'MODE' with no parameters would do it. If not, try 'MODE /HELP',
or 'DISPLAY /HELP'. My FreeDOS puter is not available for use ATM. I
recommend mode in use should be determined prior to attempting phone support.
