Hey there, I'm trying to use FreeDOS Live CD as a boot disk to run BIOS flash tool, but unfortunately FD doesn't recognize my HD partitions (I even created separate FAT one) or my BD/DVD combo or usb pendrives (I own a SOny VAIO FW), so I don't have access to that BIOS flash tool - I have the idea to put that tool files onto Live CD somewhere so that after booting these files will be visible in that memory partition ("A:" in my case), but so far I failed. Do you guys have any idea how to do that? Additionally that tool requires to be located on read/write disk with about 4MB of free space.
// that's the tool I am trying to use, although it's not important probably // http://levicki.net/articles/tips/2009/02/20/HOWTO_Enable_Intel_VT_on_Sony_VAIO_notebook_with_AMI_Aptio_EFI_BIOS.php Kamil ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Come build with us!
