Hi, I wouldn't say that it is particulary "easy", although it is not hard either ;-) All you need is download the WatTCP package, modify the watttcp.cfg file to your needs (IP, subnet mask, routing, etc..), and put this file somewhere into your PATH. Then, you will have to load a packet driver compatible with your (virtual) NIC. I am pretty sure that VMware has some generic emulation for NE2000 cards, so it shouldn't be a problem. Once you do all that, you will be able to download SCP2DOS, and use it. Note, that having a working network installation will allow you also to update automagically your FreeDOS system using FDUPDATE ;-) As for "how do I copy network files to my VMware", you could for eg. burn a CD image with the files you need, and mount that CD to your FreeDOS VMware. Just an idea. Hey, a cool idea would be to set up a VMware FreeDOS install with all latest packages, working network subsystem, memory management optimized for VMware, etc, and put a link to such image on www.freedos.org for futur VMware users. :-) Best regards, Mateusz Viste -- You'll find my public OpenPGP key at http://www.viste-family.net/mateusz/pub_key
