I'm sure this has been covered to some extent before, but here's my situation.
I have an old Windows 95 era Dell Laptop. On it is installed Debian Etch and Freedos. By carefully choosing from the vast Debian utilities (like using ratpoison or fluxbox as the windows handler) I can get pretty decent performance. But I can also boot directly to the new Freedos, which performs very well on the old equipment. The question is: From a booted Freedos, is there a way to make use of either a pcmcia network card, or the pcmcia usb card (which would let me use flash drives)? If not, it's not tragic. I can, if I'm willing to be patient, boot to Linux and access all my Freedos stuff. And from there get to usb drives or my network. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by the Moblin Your Move Developer's challenge Build the coolest Linux based applications with Moblin SDK & win great prizes Grand prize is a trip for two to an Open Source event anywhere in the world http://moblin-contest.org/redirect.php?banner_id=100&url=/ _______________________________________________ Freedos-user mailing list Freedos-user@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/freedos-user
