Hallo I am new on this list. I have a Linux system on my thinkPad 390 there are some problems with Linux sound and that laptop series. I have made the laptop play sound on the Linux sys with sb-16 but I can not record sound. Now want to try with freedos. I have installed the one floppy odin system. first I have tried to install the official ibm dos drivers for that laptop but they seems to need win3.1 to be working to install. Than I have tried some small dos sound program that I found called dss. When I try to execute it I get something like System all ready in protected mode and no Vcpi or dpmi found. do you have any advice for me about getting sound working under freedos odin? /mikkel
