This is not so much a problem with dosemu or FreeDOS, but is an error during the set up of Arachne. I just downloaded & installed Arachne on my FreeDOS system to test it. Hitting Enter during video setup worked fine. I am using dosemu 1.4.0.0 and FreeDOS 1.0, on Fedora 7.
I think what may have happened is that the user has a different video mode setting in his dosemu.conf file. Look for this: $_video = "vga" If that line does not indicate "vga" then that's the problem.
