Hi Ray, > Norton Disk Doctor from W2K says C: is OK. > FreeDOS chkdsk c: produces a 40K file. All entries are: > file has an invalid size. > The only chkdsk bug I find is 1954. > The problem stated in 1954 does not appear here.
Let me guess: The size is exactly 4 gb minus "the actual size of the file rounded up to a multiple of the cluster size"? Several other people have experienced this, but it is believed that the current version no longer has the described problem. Which version did you use? And can you test if the current version really works better? www.freedos.org/cgi-bin/lsm.cgi?mode=lsm&lsm=base/chkdsk.lsm Thanks a lot!
