But I like the new "What is FreeDOS" text on the freedos.org frontpage :-) http://www.freedos.org/ Note that fdbasews and fdfullcd also have a livecd mode :-) We should also mention the download sizes on the download page, and there should be a really nice readme...! base: 8 mb base with sources and livecd: 49 mb full with livecd: 153 mb (lots of extra programs) full with sources: 241 mb boot disk: 1.44 mb (just to boot into the cdroms) There are also real diskette distros, usually 1, 2 or 3 diskettes stuffed with preinstalled dos programs and documentation :-) Any volunteers who would like to update / maintain my 3 diskette distro? All of base, all docs of base, several small extra apps :-). I would also suggest to start a wiki page with known caveats / bugs on installing. For example I heard that the 1.0 non-English documentation still mentions beta 9 at many places. It would help to have a place to collect known issues.
